When is Botox® Ideal?
Botox® is ideal for reduces wrinkles and fine lines. It works by temporarily relaxing the muscle. Frown lines between the eyes are the most common area of treatment. However, other areas can benefit from Botox®. Our experienced licensed nurse has the experience and expertise to help you reach you personal goals using this amazing product.
How does the treatment work?
Muscular contractions are the cause of wrinkles. Botox® temporarily reduces the muscular contractions making the skin become smoother. Treatments are made by introducing several Botox® injections into the muscles responsible for these lines and wrinkles.
Is Botox® safe?
Botox® is very safe with few side effects. Our team will discuss any potential side effects with you.
What can I do after a treatment?
We recommend our patients not partake in any form of exercise for a 3 to 4 hours following their treatment. Botox® has no downtime and little to no pain or discomfort.
How long does a Botox® treatment last?
A Botox® treatment will generally last for two to three months, depending on the number of areas injected and the size of the treated areas. Results can be seen within 7-10 days following only one session. Our team will provide you with a suggested treatment schedule.
How does the treatment feel?
You may experience a slight pin-prick sensation caused by the needle used to inject Botox. While not typically required, ice or topical anesthetic may be used to reduce this feeling.
Am I a candidate for Botox®?
We recommend you consult with our staff to discuss if Botox® will work for you. However, if you are pregnant, if you are breastfeeding. or if you have an infection on the site, you should not have a treatment.
Is Botox® a permanent solution?
Botox® is not a permanent solution for reducing wrinkles.
